L'Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival

The L'Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival is an iconic Australian fashion event. In 2008 LMFF appointed Flint as the Festival's official web partner and since joining the family, Flint has worked with the LMFF team and Paper Stone Scissors to drive the launch of a new website, LMFF TV, social media and subscriber strategy, blog and iPhone application.
The key objective for the development of the 2010 website was to create a contemporary and highly flexible interface that would drive LMFF activities throughout the year as well as during the festival itself. Paper Stone Scissors created a dynamic graphic treatment perfectly aligned with LMFF's offline media activity - ensuring both visual impact and consistency.
Flint brought this to life through the creation of a hybrid (HTML/CSS/JS and Flash) website providing for a smooth JS animation style, and easy browsing through a huge depth of content - including an LMFF TV section featuring a growing collection of immersive behind-the-scenes footage.
Once again our flexible Content Management System was hand configured to this project’s needs, providing festival staff and photographers with the ability to ensure the site provides an up to the minute snapshot of festival events, shows and activities.
Flint also worked with LMFF to set up and maintain their blog, social media networks and subscriber eNewsletter 'Swingtag'.
