ROTHELOWMAN is an established, highly respected architecture and interiors firm, with a reputation for excellence.

Reputed for their high end expertise and thorough understanding of the design and construction process, ROTHELOWMAN required the development of a new sleek, edgy and compelling website to showcase their work and skills.

Migrating from an older Flash-based website, ROTHELOWMAN wanted to retain a sense of animation and movement. They also wanted to ensure the new site was compatible with mobile devices and SEO friendly.

Discovery

Through a series of workshops Flint worked with key ROTHELOWMAN stakeholders to uncover the visual, content and administration requirements of the site - which included the need for a mobile optimised experience.

ROTHELOWMAN have a distinct and exceptional design style that differentiates their work. The website was designed to integrate seamlessly with this style, complementing the brand and providing a clean and striking background to present their folio of projects.

Innovation

Flint developed the site with two mirrored versions, one each for ROTHELOWMAN’s Brisbane and Melbourne offices. The solution allows them to use a single CMS, while showcasing localised content to users based on their GeoIP.

The Result

The resulting website is a flexible, high impact creation that allows ROTHELOWMAN's amazing photography to be the hero. A dynamic JavaScript project listing provides for fluid and intuitive navigation through a depth of case studies.

Mobile

Flint delivered a mobile optimised landing page for the site, improving the experience for the growing number of users visiting via a mobile device. This simple single page mobile experience is powered by the same CMS as the main website and shares data across featured projects, enabling easier management for the ROTHELOWMAN team.

The end-result is a stunning page that showcases the range of ROTHELOWMAN’s work, while providing navigation options and filters to allow users to easily find what they’re looking for.

This page provides users with a quick synopsis of a specific project, with the ability to expand out the information.

All this is wrapped up in edgy transitions and navigation, better aligning the website with the brand. This retains a sense of animation while moving away from Flash and making the site more search engine friendly.
