Looking for a role to kick start your career in digital? Look no further! Our buzzing digital agency is on the hunt for a super-organised, superhuman, Studio Assistant!

Flint Interactive is a Melbourne-based digital agency, situated in a converted open-space warehouse in Collingwood. Our talented, tight-knit team of 20 comprises web designers, developers, digital strategists and account managers, focused on delivering leading-edge digital strategies to our clients.

We’ve built a fun studio environment, and we’re passionate about what we do.

About the Role

This role is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure with a digital agency.

We’re looking for a friendly face, with a positive and energetic attitude that can help drive our vibrant and fluid workplace environment.

An outcome of the position is that all administrative functions of operating the studio environment are taken care of, from reception duties through to coordinating studio systems and reporting.

The role requires someone who is diligent, resourceful and organised to handle the administrative tasks, as well as creative in generating and pursuing ideas which enhance the studio culture.

This is a full-time role for a “morning person” with standard working hours from 8am to 4:30pm.

Activities May Include
  • Front-of-house duties including greeting clients and answering phones
  • Administrative management of Streamtime (project management software) 
  • Circulation of weekly/monthly reports
  • Coordinating meeting spaces and daily WIP
  • Organisation of studio social activities
  • Managing induction process as well as OHS responsibilities
  • General studio duties and housekeeping
  • Managing of studio service contractors
  • Proactively pursue ideas which generate positive energy in the workplace 
Outcomes

Real world outcomes and measurements of the role will revolve around these three areas of responsibility:

  • Studio Administrative Tasks (Basic administration and reception duties, meeting room coordination, supplies, housekeeping, contractors, induction and OHS)
  • Studio Coordination/Reporting (WIP meetings, Streamtime administration, accuracy of data, timesheeting, reports)
  • Studio Culture/Environment (Social events, development of the workplace environment, maintaining positive energy)

You will be required to:

  • E-Commerce and API integration experience
  • 3-5 years experience in similar role

  • PHP5 and PHP5.3 primary language choice
  • MySQL experience; schema design, SQL proficiency, optimisation
